Hydraglow Facial

What is a Hydraglow Facial?

The HydraGlow is similar to a microdermabrasion facial; the HydraFacial device uses an exfoliating tip paired with suction to remove dead skin cells from the surface of your face, followed by serums being infused into the skin.

There are three main steps to a HydraGlow.

  • Cleanse & Peel: Exfoliation is the process of removing dead skin cells from the outer layer of the skin. It has long been known to have beneficial skin effects, including leaving the skin looking brighter, unclogging pores, and, with long-term use, increasing collagen production.
  • Extract & Hydrate: The tip of the HydraFacial machine removes impurities deep in the pores and delivers topical moisturisers simultaneously.
  • Infuse & Protect: The final step is customised to you with enriched serums, which may include reducing the appearance of hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, dull skin, or enlarged pores.

Is Aftercare Needed?

Each HydraGlow session takes less than an hour, and no downtime is required. While you shouldn’t experience any redness or peeling after your session, it’s still best to avoid exfoliating treatments for the first couple of days after a HydraGlow.

Hydraglow vs Microdermabrasion

Like a HydraGlow, microdermabrasion exfoliates your skin. The key difference is that this type of exfoliation using small crystals is best suited for fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars. Microdermabrasion also doesn’t use serums.
